[ LEAKED INFO ] Why Predictive Analysis Can Boost Your App’s Performance?

Why Predictive analysis can boost your app’s performance.
A wise man once said, “To know where you are going, you must know from where you are coming.”

Just by reading that statement, I guess I just achieved Nirvana. Damn, it has so much impact that I have made my own quote here:

“Feel free to read our other articles.” - Me (Probably)

Jokes aside, our today’s article is something that all app developers should read. As we have already discussed before App development is a journey of many steps. You need to have a roadmap and you need to know how to walk on the terrain that is always changing.

So how do you do that?

You follow through on your PREVIOUS SUCCESS, ANALYZE IT, UNDERSTAND IT, AND RE-IMPLEMENT IT!

This is what Predictive analysis is all about. In its most basic definition, Predictive Analysis can be defined as the “Method of determining Future events, based on the experience gathered by past behaviour.”

Now I hear you ask, “Hey, this is all fine and dandy, but what’s the deal with developing an app and using predictive analysis?”

I am glad you asked me, my friend.

And here’s your one-word answer: “Optimization.” And optimization rhymes with my favourite word, Efficiency… Okay it doesn’t rhyme, but you get the point; right? When an app development company focuses on efficiency and optimization, then your long-term ROI from the SAME app increases as well.

Predictive analysis helps you in finding out a lot of things about your app which includes important aspects such as total cost for the app development, risks and opportunities, increase in qualities of the app, and approx. estimate of time during development.

Yup, all of these things are done using the predictive analysis model.
So, as app developers, how can you actually use this to develop apps?

“Data, Data, Data, I can’t make bricks without clay Lestrade” - Sherlock Holmes.

If the world’s greatest detective says that he can’t do jack without data, then who the hell are we? This is where predictive analytics comes into play. With regular testing and alteration, the data that we get is actually the most valuable piece of information that you can have in your app development --arsenal.

But before you go all like “Holy cow, this predictive analysis is awesome,” I want you to hold your horses and learn a thing or two.

The predictive analysis model of app development requires a lot of hard work and long hours. Because this is so much dependent on data, this means you have constantly test after every phase and reimplement the things that made your app effective while fixing the constant bugs.

Not just that, you have to evaluate, analyse, and implement all the changes again and again till you get the finished polished product. This is HARD WORK. Talk to any app developer and you will know how much effort it takes to create an app.

So, what are some of the benefits of using predictive analysis for App development?

You’ve worked this hard, so obviously, rewards are going to be good. Some of the benefits of using Predictive analysis for App development includes a chance for enhanced user experience, improvement in long term ROI, Leveraging the past and current trends for the future, analysing user data, personalized marketing.

“Alright, so far we know what predictive analytics is, and what are its benefits. But how can I actually apply it?”

Don’t worry, I hear you. Here’s a step-by-step process to utilize predictive analysis in App development.

1: Plan your map:

Just like in every other journey, we need to make a roadmap on how we are going to approach our oncoming journey. What are some of the hurdles that you will face, and how will you go through them?

2: Gather your data:

“Data, Data, Data, I can’t make bricks without clay Lestrade” - Sherlock Holmes.

Yeah, I re-used the old quote in the same blog. No, there’s nothing that you can do about it.

Jokes apart, you will need as much data as you can get for your upcoming plan. Be it, structured data, or unstructured data. All these inputs need to be cleansed and prepared for modelling.

3: Application:

Apply all the inputs that you have gathered in accordance with the plan, for the goal that you have set.

4: Rinse and repeat:

Analyse your results and fix the shortcomings before repeating them again.

Conclusion:

Today we learned that it was Sherlock Holmes who knew everything all along. Kidding. We learnt how important predictive analysis is when creating or developing an app. There are so many things that can be out of our control, but in the end, it is we who decide how we can react to a situation.

Just like life, predictive analysis is a continuous process, and similarly, the end result is worth the hard work.

See you next time.
